Rubbermaid jobs coming to Ohio
Newell Rubbermaid Inc. is relocating production jobs from a plant in Texas to a Mogadore facility where the company said it will invest more than $25 million and create about 140 full-time jobs, the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
The state granted the Atlanta-based company $3 million in tax credits this week in exchange for retaining existing jobs at its Mogadore plant, which must remain in that location for at least 18 years to keep the tax credit.
